Side Plot Coffee
For scenic routes and side plots.
Side Plot is a single-origin Ethiopian coffee from the highlands of Sidama, where coffee grows at elevations above 2,000 meters and develops the bright, expressive character the region is known for. Naturally processed and sun-dried, it opens with notes of berry and vanilla, followed by hints of caramel and delicate florals that linger through a clean finish.
Light-bodied and lively, it’s the kind of coffee that feels a little unexpected in the best possible way. Bright without being sharp. Complex without being complicated. Each cup reveals new layers, inviting you to slow down just long enough to notice them.
Some of the best moments aren’t part of the original plan. They’re the detours, the unexpected conversations, the roads you take simply because they look interesting. Side Plot was chosen for those moments—the ones that unexpectedly become the story.

Maker's Note:
Great coffee begins with great people.
We're proud to partner with a family-owned and operated California roastery whose roots trace back to a small, family-run operation dedicated to quality, craftsmanship, and consistency. Today, they continue to roast with the same care and attention that built their reputation, serving both established coffee brands and independent businesses like Poplar & Prose.
To ensure peak freshness, coffee is roasted in small batches throughout the week using a demand-driven schedule. Orders are often packed and shipped shortly after roasting, minimizing storage time and helping every bag arrive with the character and quality it was intended to deliver.
To further reduce waste, Side Plot is packaged in a commercially compostable coffee bag designed to balance freshness with a more sustainable approach to packaging.
It's coffee we're proud to share—and one we look forward to accompanying you on your next chapter.
