Welcome to the Journal

A portion of this year's proceeds will be set aside for two things we love.

The first is trees — supporting global reforestation and local planting efforts — our way to help keep and restore a little bit of that magic we feel on the trail. The second is books — placing new titles and resources into the hands of children across the U.S., who might not otherwise have them.

Both feel close to what we're building here. Something made to last. Something to be passed on — like a good story that stays with you and finds its way forward.

Five Questions

Five Questions is a conversation series featuring the people who make up our little corner of the literary and local community—from favorite books and daily rituals to the people, places, and ordinary moments that inspire them.

Pour a cup of coffee, pull up a chair, and settle in.
